Like a suitcase packed with everything but the kitchen sink, my blog is a place to talk movies, books, current events, pop culture, travel, modern love, and includes flash fiction. A list of categories can be found to the right.
Don't forget to stand on corners with suitcases in your hands (homage to Lou Reed and his song "Sweet Jane"). You never know what's around that corner, but it will surely be an adventure.

Tragedy in Tucson, January 8, 2011
Gabrielle Giffords
Gabrielle Giffords survived. She is on a long and difficult road to recovery. In memory of all who lost thier lives. To all of those who were injured physically or emotionally in any way by this tragedy. May we all heal and move forward toward positve change.
"In the fleeting time we have on this earth, what matters is not wealth, or status, or power, or fame -- but rather, how well we have loved, and what small part we have played in bettering the lives of others.
We may not be able to stop all evil in the world, but I know that how we treat one another is entirely up to us."

We Support Sheriff Dupnik
I was contacted by a local journalist the day before the rally the tea party was holding to support a recall of Sheriff Dupnik. Of course I am against a recall and so agreed to the interview. I was able to post the interview, however, it seems to be on autoplay and I can't seem to remove it. Sorry about that. Here is a link and the URL to an interview with me on KVOA Channel 4, Tucson in support of Sheriff Dupnik.
